Waterloo Cup 1852
The seventeenth running of the Waterloo Cup took place from Tuesday 2nd March 1852 and had prize money of £800. The entry conditions for the race required 32 subscribers to subscribe their nomination at £25 each. It supported the thirteenth running of the Grand National at nearby Aintree. The winner, Cerito, was owned by Mr G F Cooke, while the runner-up Larriston was owned by Lord Sefton.
